The second week of November brought together four participating teams from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, and Slovenia to participate in the U15 tournament which was organized under the HP4P project.
With the end of 2019 rapidly approaching, it was time for the Project’s last event of the year which took place in Zagreb, Croatia between 4. and 5. December 2019. he first part of the event, the Workshop on Strategic Development in Sports Organizations, has through series of theoretical and practical activities focused on improving the planning capacity of the Project Partners and Managers in Sport from other Sports Organizations who joined for the occasion.
The HPP Workshop provides rare opportunity to exchange ideas, experience and good practices between various stakeholders in sport in Western Balkan region which is not lacking challenges in all areas of sport: from financing to the lack of infrastructure among the most pressing ones. The bigger the challenge the more it needs a proper, smart, and systematic approach which can only be developed through careful planning and great execution. Join us in Zagreb on December 4th.
The Conference provided an opportunity for people involved in sport in the region today to get together in Belgrade to exchange ideas and good practices as well as to learn about how to build their organizational capacities to establish more financially robust sport organizations and extending their capabilities to grow their revenues and secure more funding.
Join us at the Sports, Law and Finance Conference on 15th and 16th of October in Belgrade, Serbia. The Conference aims to bring together the community of international stakeholders in sport to discuss and explore the cornerstones of establishing successful regional sports’ competitions at strategic and operational level.
Good Governance Seminar event, hosted by the Faculty of Slovenia, University of Slovenia (HPP Project partner), with three interconnected lectures building on each other, addressed leaders and managers in sport about the importance of Good Governance at various levels of sports ecosystem.
The first consortium meeting took place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from the 14th to the 16th of February 2019, and focused on establishing good understanding and cooperation between the partners, a crucial aspect when implementing a project of this scale according to all the rules and responsibilities related to European funding.
Main goal of the event is to raise awareness about the importance of Good Governance in sport for organization managers at various levels of sport ecosystem.

Hockey Partnership for Progress (HPP) is a joint project of five ice hockey federations in the Western Balkan Region and several other partners providing essential expertise. The project is Co-Founded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and was developed to kick-start development of ice hockey ecosystem in the region by raising awareness, improving governance practices in ice hockey and, additionally, addresses the key areas affected by the lack of it.
